I began photographing weddings in 1997 to create an "unofficial" album - all the casual and candid shots. I also provided portrait portfolios for friends round about the same time. Since then I've photographed many weddings and portraits (not all displayed on this site for privacy reasons) for friends and colleagues and building on my experience along the way. I also took a City & Guilds course in Photography and had some pictures (entitled "Ethnic Diversity") displayed in Leeds City Art Gallery as part of a larger anthropology exhibition. |

My name is Probash Chowdhury. I started Photography by Probash in 2005 after many years of deliberating. The leap into setting up my own business was daunting; but I did it and here I am - at your service! I joined the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers) round about the same time as I started Photography by Probash and I am currently working towards a professional photography qualification with them.
